7/26/2010 - MAERSK GIANT TO DRILL FOR DONG E&P |
| Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has approved Dong E&P Norge plan to use the MAERSK GIANT for drilling on the Trym field.
The Trym gas/condensate discovery 3/7-4 was proven in 1990, and is located in the far south of the North Sea. The field will be developed with a subsea installation tied into the Harald facility on the Danish side of the border.
The drilling activity has an expected duration of 216 days. |
