7/26/2010 - AKER SOLUTIONS TO SUPPLY GOLIAT MOORING SYSTEM

Aker Solutions inked a contract with Eni Norge for the design and supply of an on-vessel Pusnes mooring system for the GOLIAT FPSO. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately NOK150 million ($24.2 million).
The contract consists of 14 Pusnes fairlead chain stoppers and three moveable Pusnes windlasses for 165 mm chain. The hull for the round-shaped production unit (FPSO) will be built in South-Korea. After completion, the FPSO will be located at the Goliat field in the Barents Sea. The equipment will be manufactured in Norway, Poland and South Korea and the delivery will take place during 2011.
