7/26/2010 - ENI TURNS TAPS AT TUNA FIELD OFFSHORE EGYPT

Eni commenced gas production from the Tuna field in the Temsah Concession, located in the Mediterranean off the coast of Egypt. By the end of its ramp-up period in September, this project will produce 4.5 MMcm/d of natural gas.
The project comprises a new four-leg platform situated in approximately 262 FSW (80 MSW), three producing wells and 14 km of 24-inch dia. pipeline.
Eni owns a 50% participating interest in the Temsah concession, while BP owns the remaining 50% stake. Petrobel, a joint operating company equally owned by IEOC and EGPC, is the operator of the Tuna project.
